Livestream Studio

This display type is used to display the preview or the live overlays of a livestream studio.

When selecting "Preview" state, the display shows the preview scene while the user is working on it. When selecting "Live" state, the display only updates when the user clicks "Update displays" in the livestream studio or when auto-update is enabled.

Depending on your hardware setup, you can choose between different key modes:

  • Chroma adds a colored background to the background. Within your broadcast software, you can key out this color to overlay the livestream graphics on your video feed. If you display graphics with the same color as the chroma key color, those parts will also be keyed out.
  • Alpha Channel vertically splits the output in half. The left half displays the graphics without any transparency. The right half displays the transparency as grayscale (black = transparent, white = opaque). This mode is recommended as it allows you to display all colors in your graphics without risk of parts being keyed out unintentionally.
